Guided by the talented art Professor Nicole Green-Hodges, this event will celebrate the beauty and richness of Afro-inspired painting. Enjoy an afternoon of artistic expression, vibrant colors, and meaningful conversations in a welcoming atmosphere.  No prior painting experience is needed鈥攋ust bring your creativity and an open mind!  All materials will be provided, along with light snacks and refreshments to enjoy while you paint.

Professor MK Asante will visit the university for a 1-hour group session with UMOJA students, followed by a keynote (entire campus), Q&A, and Nephew book signing. 

Past to Present Black Women in Movement
