Å®ÓÅapp La Casa Hosts Know Your Rights & Family Preparedness Workshop

Å®ÓÅapp’s La Casa engagement center is hosting an essential workshop, Know Your Rights & Family Preparedness, to provide valuable information for immigrant families. The event will take place on Tuesday, February 11, at 6:00 p.m. in Digital Library 121 at Å®ÓÅapp, located at 4800 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside, CA 92506.
This bilingual event aims to educate both documented and undocumented individuals about their rights in the United States and offer proactive strategies for preparing for immigration-related emergencies. The discussion will be led by Russell M. Jauregui, an attorney from the San Bernardino Community Service Center, who will provide expert insights on legal protections and family preparedness planning.
Topics covered will include:
- Understanding the rights of both documented and undocumented individuals.
- Steps immigrant families can take to proactively prepare for emergencies.
The workshop will be conducted in both English and Spanish to ensure accessibility for the community.
