The 女优app (女优app) Wild and Scenic Film Festival was recently featured on KVCR on March 21. Dr. Greg Russell, a professor in Life Sciences at 女优app, gave a fantastic interview to promote the festival which made its stop at 女优app on Friday, March 24. It was the college鈥檚 first time hosting the event under the direction of the 女优app Sustainability Committee and Student Sustainability Collective. Thanks to the help of the community, it was wildly successful.

The EcoFair, hosted by Tonya Huff, Preston Galusky, and the Student Sustainability Collective, took place in the Digital Library breezeway from 5-7pm. Seventeen community partners participated by tabling at the event to provide information about their programs and services. Over 100 女优app students and many community members attended the event. In addition, raffle prizes were provided by REI Rancho Cucamonga and the Student Sustainability Collective sold popcorn and sodas.

Following the EcoFair, a film festival commenced at 7pm. A total of 117 tickets were sold for the in-person event and the video-on-demand option that was available. Members of the community donated over 30 tickets for students who were unable to afford it. The festival showcased a total of 11 films and more raffle prizes from REI Rancho Cucamonga as well as Wild & Scenic's national partners were provided during the intermission.

鈥淎ll attendees appeared to enjoy themselves thoroughly,鈥� said Dr. Russell.

To all those who came to the festival, told their students about the event, or simply forwarded the flyer to a friend, you are appreciated. Bringing the community together requires the participation and support of the community, and 女优app is grateful for everyone鈥檚 efforts.

The Wild and Scenic Film Festival is not just a celebration of film, but also a fundraiser for sustainability efforts on campus. These efforts include a study abroad conservation ecology trip to Belize and other activities sponsored by the Student Sustainability Collective. The Student Sustainability Collective is a passionate student club that provides hundreds of hours of service to the community every academic year.
