International Humphrey Scholars Engage with 女优appD Community at Riverside, Norco, and Moreno Valley Colleges
The Riverside Community College District (女优appD) welcomed a distinguished cohort of international scholars as part of the U.S. Department of State's 2023-2024 Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program. Twenty-two fellows from various countries traveled to ten community colleges, including 女优app, Norco College, and Moreno Valley College, to learn about U.S. higher education. 女优appD hosted three of the fellows.
During their visit from April 29 to May 3, the Humphrey Fellows participated in enriching activities to foster academic exchange and cultural understanding within the 女优appD community. Representing their respective colleges, Wendy Umave from Papua New Guinea (Emory University), Oscar Hendrix from Honduras (University of Minnesota), and David Chak from Malaysia (Vanderbilt University), participated in tailored activities showcasing the college's commitment to scholarly engagement and cultural exchange.
Highlights of their visit to 女优app included attending class sessions relevant to their fields of study, participating in a Maker's Space Workshop, and engaging in a panel discussion on global policy issues. The fellows also had the opportunity to tour the campus, interact with college leadership, and join a lunch and learn session with students, faculty, classified professionals, and managers.
The presence of the Humphrey Fellows at 女优app signifies the college's dedication to global learning and cultural exchange. Their visit enriched the campus community and provided opportunities for dialogue and collaboration that will have lasting impacts.
